Pozé catering is spearheaded by Christophe Lissarrague, former owner and chef of the award winning restaurant Christophe’s on the Green in Vergennes, VT. Since 2009, Christophe has been providing catering services for special events at the University of Vermont.
With 30 years of experience from Paris to New York to Vermont at the highest level, Christophe has assembled a team of chefs, cooks, and servers to help him provide the highest quality food and impeccable service. Pozé takes pride in working with clients to ensure that its services will match your desires to offer an exceptional experience for your guests.

At Pozé catering, it is important to us that you be thrilled with the outcome of your event from trayed hors d’oeuvres to delicious buffet displays and beautiful desserts, we want to please you and your guests.

We would be happy to be part of your small gathering, such as a dinner party, holiday party, bridal shower, or business celebration. Let us make a worry free and successful gathering.
Pozé Catering is passionate about preparing innovative cuisine that is artfully presented. We never commit to more than one off-premise catering event per day so that our excellent team members may focus solely on producing your exceptional event.
We are available to drop off gourmet platters and baskets prepared in our kitchen by our talented cooking staff.
The new way to entertain: gather your favorite ingredients, invite 10 to 14 people for dinner, Christophe will come over to your kitchen and improvise a menu using your ingredients.
Timing: Christophe will arrive at 9 am the in your kitchen to see and assess the ingredients. He will then create a menu for your dinner. A couple of additional staffers will arrive in the afternoon to help prep, serve, and clean up.
Cost: $ 850
Includes: 3 course dinner, knife sharpening, service, and clean up.
Our improv dinner was fabulous! We supplied our favorite produce, grains and meat. Christophe made our home smell amazing all day and we were eager to eat dinner that evening. I was curious how he was going to use the grains that he chose from our pantry. They seemed like an unlikely pairing but his creativity and expertise proved me wrong. I savored every course of our meal. Not only was the meal delicious, clean up was simple. We didn’t have to do anything! Dishes, pans, utensils were all cleaned and put away. It was wonderful to eat a gourmet meal made at home and to share with our friends.

Christophe’s creative cuisine is a feast for all the senses. The oysters with a leak sabayon gratin are among the best things we ever tasted and the asparagus soufflé ranks among the most beautiful things we ever ate. We always thought Christophe’s added to the quality of our lives and we often used the dining experience at Christophe’s as a standard by which we measured other restaurants here in the US and in Europe. Needless to say, they usually came up short. We suspect that, had Christophe’s ever been reviewed by the Michelin restaurant guide, it would have gotten three stars, the highest ranking.

We have been blessed to have dined at many Michelin restaurants in the US, Europe and Asia. Eating a meal prepared by Christophe equals the experience of dining in Michelin restaurants in the South of France and San Sebastian Spain. Christophe Lissarrague is one of the very few classically-trained french chefs in Chittenden county. You know that someone who keeps his own ducks so that he can ensure his duck confit is processed correctly is serious about food. He has brought that seriousness to his eponymous restaurant in Vergennes and latterly to his stint as Special Event Chef at the University of Vermont. And that is what you will get from Christophe in his new catering business, a special event. We have been enjoying his food for the last 12 years and will continue to do so at out own special events.
